Polar Opposites Holiday Surprise Box

This listing is for polar opposites self striping yarn; 4 different colors to choose from, each inspired by ALICE IN WONDERLAND 

The self-striping yarn on offer here are 4 different colors, each are 2 color stripes in polar opposite stripes (approx 4-5 rows of one color and 1-2 rows of the other color for 50g, and the reverse color sequence for the other 50g half skein.) These polar opposites sets come with a 20g mini skein of a contrast color. Each half skein is enough yardage for an average sized adult sock, so you have enough yardage with two half skeins easily for an adult sized pair of socks.

You have the option of 4 different color combinations/ inspirations:

1. Dee & Dum: two solid colors make up this stripe combo. I’ve done this color before, but not in a long time, and I’m not going to tell you here what colors make up the skein (but you can find it on Ravelry if you want to know!) I’ll be slightly changing the exact shades of each color that I use for this from last time I dyed it.

2. Cheshire Cat: two overlayed/ tonal colors make up this stripe combo. I’ve done this color before, but not in a long time, and I’m not going to tell you here what colors make up the skein (but you can find it on Ravelry if you want to know!) I’ll be changing the exact shades of each color that I use for this from last time I dyed it.

3. Down the Rabbit Hole: one solid color and one speckled color make up this stripe combo. This is a new color that I’ve not done before

4. Time for Tea: two different speckled colors make up this stripe. One speckled color will be a lighter speckle and the other will be a heavier speckle so that there is good contrast between the stripes. This is a new color that I’ve not done before, inspired by the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. 

This surprise box will contain 1 wrapped yarn gift (or 4 wrapped yarn gifts if you need them all!)

*William Merino : 75% sw merino, 25% nylon; 230 yds/50g & 460 yds/100g & 93 yds/20g contrast mini

*Charles Merino : 80% sw merino, 20% nylon; 200 yds/50g & 400 yds/100g & 80yds/20g contrast mini
