"On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place."; Knights Who Say Knit KAL Kit

  • $130.00

I do love a good MKAL, and this one is going to be excellent! You need 2 skeins of a main color, and 6 mini skeins of about 140 yds per color, and I've put together 3 different themed kits for you to choose from!

This set is "On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place."

it is 2 full skeins of chain mail, and 6 minis in green, orange, purple, red, yellow, and blue

this set is available on two different bases: Marcel silk  merino and Edith Merino. The silk merino has a lovely sheen and feel, and the Edith base is a 17 micron merino that is nearly as soft as a fluffy bunny (not the killer variety)

From the pattern page, here are some details on the MKAL pattern:

I seek the finest and silliest knitters to join me in a this quest for the grail! You have proven yourself worthy--Will you join us? There will be coconuts! Unladen swallows! And you must bring us….a SHRUBBERY!

This Very Silly MKAL is for a shawl, and I’ll go ahead and tell you that will end up being rectangular with a fun construction. It’s a “festival of stitches” sort of project that will feature several different stitch patterns, many of which will be repeated in the project, and some that make only a cameo appearance (Zoot would understand).

The mkal will be open for preorders on April 1st (just because). At that point, you’ll be able to download the Planning Sheet with yarn requirements and general banter about Very Silly things.
The first Clue will be released on April 19th at noon EDT!
Remaining clues will be on each following Monday (also at noon EDT…please. I can’t release it at noon in every time zone):
Clue 2: April 26th
Clue 3: May 3rd
Clue 4: May 10th
Clue 5: May 17th

Pattern is NOT included in the kit, and must be purchased on Ravelry
